Obvious influences include Tom Petty, The Byrds, Bob Dylan and The Band..., April 19 2011

The John Henry's are a great roots rock band from Ottawa. Their sound is very close to Tom Petty, but you can also hear other influences such as The Band, The Byrds and Bob Dylan. I saw them in a theatre in Rochester, NH with about 50 people, which is a shame because they should be so much more popular than that. If you like roots rock or Americana, check these guys out...you won't be disappointed!
