There are lots of authentic pimping books out there. This is not one of them. Look, pimps are known for their outrageous ways and colorful writing - that same beautiful verbal skill that makes them great pimps also makes them amazing writers.Well, in "White Pimp", Robert Kramer writes like he invented this story from reading other pimping books. Not only is the writing dull and lifeless, but there is absolutely no insight into the Game. This book reads like, "I went here. I did this. Her name was that, We went shopping. Then I got mine. She went back on the street".
The other tip off that this book is phony is the lack of photos. Everyone knows that all authentic pimp books must have photos. This book - well, it has only two washed-out black and white photos. The rest are drawings - yes, drawings - that look like they were done by children.
Don't get conned. If you want to read a good pimping book, that is absolutely filled with insights and tidbits, then read "Pimp Tales" by James Robinson. Or any other pimping book. Just don't buy this one.
