4.0 out of 5 stars Accurate, May 31 2009

This DVD concert captures the essence of the band as it was in the mid 70's - complete with all the blemishes. The added bonus DVD of an earlier performance reveals how the band progressed over the years. A good concert DVD!

Two words.......................BUY IT!!!!
Amazing sound with John Entwistle, Roger Daltrey, Keith Moon & Pete Townshend at their best (DVD1)! Keith Moon also on the DVD shows why he is still considered the WILDEST drummer who ever lived!

The Kilburn 1977 concert was recorder & filmed masterfully! It almost sounds like you're listening to an LP! Remember that? :-)

On DVD2 you watch the Who perform a concert in 1969! Oh my, the story tells it all from that era. Look at the way they were dressed and had their hair cut! Keith Moon asks Pete Townshend, "Why are you dressed like a plumber?"!!!

Thanks!

5.0 out of 5 stars The Who at Kilborn 1977, Feb 13 2009

A fantastic piece of work. It's great to get the perspective of The Who prior to Keith Moon's untimely departure from this earth. I also appreciate the rawness of the 1969 Concert, as well. The Tommy portion of the performance was stupendous. Well engineered and digitally re-mastered. A great collectors' item at an obscene price. Two thumbs up!
