My son just read this book and we have several of the series. I'm waiting for the authors to do one on Dennis Ritchie, since he died a week after Steve Jobs and was arguably just as important if not more so, to computers and technology. Not as shiny though. Which is why they ought to write about him.

"Who Was" book series is GREAT! April 20 2012
By Lovin Amazon - Published on Amazon.com

All of the "Who was" books are great. They offer more information than just about the person the book is written about and are a great resource for kids to learn about an era or issue in history. Also, they are "reader friendly" therefore very inviting to a kid that may not be interested in history or biographies. Our faqmily highly recommend any and all of them!

My daughter loves this series of books. My husband and I are computer people and were thrilled when they came out with one about Steve Jobs. She has learned a lot of information from each biography. Great series! Great purchase from Amazon!
