He promised her anything she wanted, but was marriage asking too much?

Domenic Corso vowed to do anything for playoff tickets, but when Lynne Stanford suggested their best hope was applying for a marriage license, the landscape architect with the bedroom eyes couldn't resist her dare! They'd hoped to keep their ticket scam secret, but once word of the wedding reached family and friends, what had begun as a clever game suddenly grew as hot as the Steelers! Could their reckless charade take them all the way to true love?

In a novel that's fast paced, wickedly funny, and utterly appealing, Donna Valentino provides a tantalizing glimpse of passion that's just as hot on the field as off! He'd found her plan irresistible, if a little too good to be true, but once their sweetheart deal went public, could a couple who'd bet on a season together negotiate a lifetime pact?

How long ago did you meet?" asked a reporter.

"Long enough to know that our ultimate goal is totally compatible," Dom said with a straight face.

Well, that was true.  They both wanted to go to the Steelers game with enough desperation that they'd walked open-eyed into this ridiculous scheme.

"Give us a kiss," urged one reporter.

"He's too shy," Lynne said.

"He doesn't look so shy to me," the blonde said.

"One little kiss," cajoled the news guy from KDKA.

"Tell them you don't want to do this," Lynne whispered up at Domenic.

"How would I live it down if my buddies see that I passed on the chance to kiss a pretty girl?  I think this falls into the area of defending my manhood."

"Make it a good one!" challenged the blonde as Domenic's hands came up to Lynne's shoulders and he spun her around.

He pulled her close.

"Fake it,!" she whispered.

"What?"

"Just a little peck.  Disinterested.  So people will know we're doing it because we have to, not because we want to kiss each other."

His lips stroked over hers, so warm and far softer than any man with such hard stomach muscles should have.  They were firm, demanding, and she knew that this brief kiss only offered a hint of what Domenic could do with his lips and tongue.
