2.0 out of 5 stars HORRIBLE, RUN AWAY! Aug 7 2008
By Martine
Format:DVD
I like to get everything that Madonna does... but please, this is bad story, bad acting... JUST BAD! VERY VERY BAD! Watch it if it ever plays on TV (but of course it never does...). I love Madonna, but this time, I laughed at her & not with her!

4.0 out of 5 stars Madonna's best film so far.... Jan 11 2006
Format:DVD
An early example of Madonna's film work. For the role she is portraying, I find it humorous. It is a fun film and that is all it was intended to be in the first place. It is one my family can watch again to this day and still get a laugh out of. Madonna is a superstar no matter what her acting abilities may be. She is having fun with a role and that is all that counts in the long run. I really enjoy watching this movie.

4.0 out of 5 stars This is a cute, humerous film
Critics and audiences treated this film as if it was supposed to be a "serious film". ITS NOT - that is why it received such bad reviews in the US. Read more

3.0 out of 5 stars A big improvement from Shanghai Surprise
What puzzles me is, why the studio released the quite frankly awful Shanghai Surprise on DVD and not this film. This film is a huge improvement from Shanghai Surprise. Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars God Bless the Child that has it's Own copy of this movie!!

2.0 out of 5 stars Only Madonna Fans can stomach this nonsense
Madonna's film debut - not quite up to Dolly Parton's 9to5. This film is a series of outrageously far-fetched crazy situations caused by or involving a street-wise, loud-mouthed,... Read more

To me, "Who's that Girl" represents the ultimate Madonna movie instead of "Desperately Seeking Susan". Read more
