HASH(0xa540e0cc) out of 5 stars A grate single for a grate song. Aug. 20 2000
By Devin - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Audio CD
Travis, a grate band and now just getting air play in Canada and the US The First the single from the CD in Canada and the US was Why Does It Always Rain On Me?. Its one of my favourite songs off the album The Man Who, Travis second album. Travis was already big in the UK. But was bound to come over sea's to try to make it in America and Canada, but with are over "pop"ed radio it would be a hard task to do, but they do it well. The song was played on allot of collage radio stains and built up a good fan base. Soon after the video was released on Canada's Much Music and got allot of air play, and then a moth or so later MTV followed and gave the video airplay. and the made a good fan base here and in the US and is only growing.
The Single includes two of the best songs off the album, Why Dose It Always Rain On Me? and Driftwood live (there are a grate! band live) and an unreleased song Village Man witch is also a good song. To go along with the over "pop"ed music, Travis dose a cover of Brittey Spears "Baby One More Time" totally funny, but surprisingly when they sing it its a really good song. The last on the Single is the wonderful video for Why Dose It Always Rain On Me? So If you like The Man Who our have heard the song and like it then I recommend you pick this up.
Enjoy!

"Why does it always rain on me" used in the tv series, William and Mary. Used in a funeral for teenagers It brought the familys together and began the healing. It's that call you never want to hear about your kids and then about yourself at that age and the decisions we made.

I mean, I heard this on "William and Mary" and loved it--even though it was a very sad scene.
