A refreshing approach to dating!,

Reading this book made me realize how many years I had spent feeling demoralized and inadequate in the dating arena -- and for no good reason! I had been doing exactly what Kearns described about choosing partners from those who just happened to "wash up on my shores." I had the "relationship by default" approach to dating and now I see what I have to do to improve my chances of finding a proper mate. I've always been something of a chameleon, adjusting my attitudes and interests, even my beliefs, in order to get on well with the person in my life. What a horrible compromise! Taking to heart Kearns' chapters about on-line dating, I felt empowered and hopeful. I immediately joined an internet dating site, followed Kearns' tips, and in FOUR DAYS, received responses from 3 promising men who reacted positively to everything about me -- my profile, my politics, my appearance, and my sense of humor. What a difference!

Waiting around for whatever--or rather, whomever--may come, is one of the main causes for dating dissatisfaction. I can really relate to this as I know so many women, myself included, who are just waiting for Mr. Right to find me. Well, you can't wait--you have to get out there and help it along! This book opened my eyes up to the possibilities and gave me fresh hope. I highly recommend it, along with "Man Magnet" which also helped me with dating and men.

I'd highly recommend this book for any woman who is frustrated by the dating scene. The author seems to get that it is difficult to meet new people (especially men!) once you've graduated from school. He gives a guy's perspective on how and where to meet nice men, and things that you can do to increase your chances of meeting "Mr. Right". I really liked the chapters on online dating -- it's explained really clearly and doesn't seem so scary!
