Product Description

Review

'A readable, brutal analysis of how your brain chooses partners for you... it helps to know love is a mental disorder, like OCD. Romantic feelings are chemical responses triggered in the brain - not the mystical meeting of souls.' -- Liz Hoggard EVENING STANDARD 'In a world world where over 50 per cent of marriages end in divorce, spending 12.99 on some great advice and insight has to be cheaper than calling in the lawyers.' DAILY RECORD --This text refers to an alternate Paperback edition.

As always a light hearted look at a very deep subject. Lots of handy insights and points to ponder. This is not an in depth psychological study just a good easy read for someone who isn't necessarily looking to read a novel.

A manual for living with the opposite sex Sept. 19 2012
By Richard Landis - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
The book was excellent. Witty, informative, covers much more than just what the title implies. this is a good manual for people starting a relationship or wanting their existing relationship to become better. A sense of humor is necessary.

The book is the third by these authors that I have read, and each of the books have helped me learn more about the differences between how men and women think. It is a good read.

Who knew?!!! July 27 2011

The Peases know how to teach men and women about each other in a easily readable, humorous way. This, and their other books, should be required reading for young people before they get into a relationship. I am 63 years old and still found it very enlightening and thought provoking. I think a lot of relationships would never happen and a lot of marriages might be saved if these books were read by both partners.
Great book! March 24 2014

This is a great book on relationships! I check it out from the library and after reading it, decided I need to purchase my own copy.
It is still interesting the second time around.
