Nothing Grim About The Grimmerie - Pure Theatrical Magic,

Over the years there have been many books chronicling the history of mega-hit musicals like Cats, Les Miz, Miss Saigon, Rent and others, but The Grimmerie is in a class by itself. The design alone is absolutely stunning, with tremendous detail given to each page and a completely unique overall look and style. The book's content is such that it's meant to appeal to a broad range of readers. Die-hard teenaged Wicked fanatics will enjoy things like the "Do the Elphie" step-by-step dance page, while grown-ups interested in the making of musical theatre will likely gravitate to the pages detailing how the music, sets, costumes, and storyline were crafted. This is a fantastic book to add to your collection whether you're a Wicked fan or just interested in the creation of a mega-hit Broadway musical.

The Grimmerie is an excellent book for those who love Wicked! I can see how it may bore those who do not have a specific interest in the musical itself, but for fans it is great! There is so much informations as well as lots of pictures and behind the scenes information. When I finished it I knew so much more about Wicked than I did before!
