You will have difficulties putting this book down. Which every line you read, you will want more and more, breath talking

I bought this book based mainly on the other reviews here. If you are looking for a Harlequin Romance with a little sauce, this is the book for you. If run on, plain vanilla descriptions are your bag you sill like it too. This is not erotic romance. It is sweetness with only a touch of salt.
The plot is somewhat interesting, the "who done it" aspect does arouse some interest, but that is pretty much the only arousing going on. The sex scenes are few and far between (there are only 3 real descriptions of sex in this book with a lot of filler surrounding them). Of these I considered two of them good enough to cause you to turn the page faster than usual. There is a lot of waiting for the action.
The characters, especially the narrators are stock. Jack has the hokey, unbelievable grandfather who has romantic ideas about how Morgan (the female love interest) is his grandson's predestined Great Love. His way of showing it is, when asked to bring Morgan some clothing he buys her crotchless numbers and slutty suits that show no respect at all for her and then the author treats him as "gallant" when they are in conversation. Totally lame and unbelieveable.
Jack is a caricature not a man. He is bent on revenge but, despite himself falls in love with someone who is just an object like all of the others. The plot is full of conventional contrivances and lots of humming and hahing by the narrators, but what is going to happen to the two of them is obvious throughout. Shayla Black gives them a few little crises to overcome, but the only reader in suspense is the one who has never encountered a Harlequin romance or stock 'erotic novel' before. All of this could be forgiven if there were lots of sex scenes & they were hot. There are few scenes and of the scenes few are hot, none sizzle.
I would save both your money and your time and take a pass on this. If someone gave it to me for free I would be disappointed I had wasted so much time expecting it to get good.

This book is amazing! The erotic scenes are scorching and the storyline is very well written. I highly reccomend this book to anyone and everyone who asks for a good erotic book.... yum!
