This is an excellent series. Mostly a nature show, so don't expect to see any hotels (except for monkeys crashing a pool party). It involves for the most part the Chinese people and their relationship with their natural surroundings, which is surprisingly harmonious. A little history with the cultural revolution and the destruction of most of the forests and wildlife and the return to the more traditional nurturing ideals of the ancient chinese. Tibet, Shangri-la, the great wall, deserts, and marshes are most prominent. Blu-Ray or DVD it's spectacular. I got the Blue-ray because I got a deal. I personally can go either way.
