Not really meant for those who aren't taking the accompanying course,

This is a lesson plan for the Gum Paste and Fondant Wilton Method course. While it can be used separately, it is going to be set up differently from a standard instruction book as it's meant to be used in a 4 week course. Thus you start your mum at the beginning of the book, but don't finish it till the end, as each lesson is only supposed to take 2 hours and the bases need time to dry thoroughly before moving on.If you are taking this accompanying course, do check with your instructor, as this item was included in my tuition and handed out to each class member at the beginning of the first class.

Interesting,

I found this book to be interesting,but some things were a little confusing at first. Some of the directions were not as clear cut as they could have been. Also, everything was all over the place. It started with one thing but to get to the end of it you had to go to the end of the book. Great for a beginner I guess!!

I purchased all three of the lesson plans for Wilton's three courses. In my opinion, as an educator, they are excellent. I'll use them to instruct myself and keep them for future reference. The price is great! $4.99.

the book as part of the kit costs around 30 bucks but this alone just costs around 5 bucks which i think is a great deal.

I saw this book in the store and it was much more expensive...once I got it I was thrilled! Simple and easy directions. Pictures are great..I love Wilton teaching methods.
