These are decent cooling racks. I've had them about 7-8 years and they work fine as cooling racks. One on it's own is sturdy. But while you CAN stack them it makes them so unstable I wouldn't recommend doing it. I have already tossed one due to it rusting, and I'm starting to see rust on the others. However, in this house they get used at least once a week, so if they'd be used less frequently in yours they may last longer.

You want these if you bake lots of cookies

First of all, I bought this rack set because of it's stacking (space saving) ability and that they can be seperated into 3 seperate racks. Being able to put them in the dishwasher is also nice. They are great for cookies, and ok for 8" cakes or a single loaf of freshly baked bread per rack.
The wire they're made of is thin and very flimsy. Cooling a meatloaf in a pyrex pan bends the wires right down to the counter (they do come back into shape when the weight is removed). I guess either I was setting my expectations too high or I received something different from all the other reviewers. If I had it to do over again I'd want to buy something sturdier to better suit my needs. However, if you bake lots of cookies you can't go wrong with these.

I LOVE my racks. SOOOOO easy to use and clean up. Makes producing large qaunties of cookies a snap. Even for a regular batch you can let them cool all the way before having to move them off the racks. I will eventually buy another set for sure. Great price on Amazon too.
