Very good reference book.,

This review is from: Windows 7 Inside Out (Paperback)
I am actually enjoying reading this book from front to back. Being a Windows XP user who skipped Vista, I can read the book at the same time as testing everything, which simplifies the learning process of a new desktop environment. For the price tag, it's a very good purchase for anyone wanting to do more than "use windows".

I have to agree with the previous person who has reviewed this book. I personally who came from WindowsXP, to Windows7 found this book valuable as it was read cover to cover I feel very confident within Windows7 and I've also learned what changes were made between the era of WindowsXP to Windows7.

windows 7 inside out,

This review is from: Windows 7 Inside Out (Paperback)
Microsoft Windows 7 Inside Out is a very good book for general information on Windows 7. The book is quite technical and perhaps somewhat hard to read. If you are a beginner, just learning about windows 7, I would recommend not buying this book. There are other books, fully illustrated, in color, that would be better for the beginner. However, this book has quite a bit of information on Windows 7, perhaps not found in some other books. The illustrations in the book are in black and white, very small print and hard to read. Basically, I would give this book a 4. If you take your time and read carefully, it has quite a lot of information.
