Book Description
This is the first book of its kind for Nova Scotia- an engaging and well-written overview of the wines and fast-growing wine industry of Nova Scotia from wine expert and writer Sean Wood. Sean takes the reader on a tour though the different wineries scattered across the province.
Readers can follow along on the map as Wood gives a sketch of each winery including the personalities and backgrounds of the principals, their philosophy of winemaking and individual style; an overview of the wines of each winery; and the amenities and features of each winery such as restaurants, on-site tasting rooms and gift shops, as well as winery and vineyard tours, special events that take place during the year and places to stay and eat nearby.
