Once again, Mack Maloney has written a book that I couldn't put down. Skyfire is filled with tons of action and even more mystery. If you are just starting the series, then this is a great one to start with. Series readers with find Skyfire to be an excellent continuation of the series!

I red this series in the late 80's & early 90's, still have some of the books. I have chosen to read most of the series thru this book on my Kinkle Fire HDX since I find reading in a dark room at night w/o a light are major positive. Back to the book & all books of the series, I greatly enjoyed reading Hawk Hunter's lastest endeavor. I am probably a big-old 64 year old boy but when I found the 'Wingman' series in the Kinkle store, I bought several & then realized that I needed to start with book one. I am not going to review each of the books thru book eight. If you get to wondering about what happened in WWIII which created the Hawk Hunter we know & love then read book seven since it tells the story of how Hunter evolved into the force that he is. Each book is excellent in its own way since it tells a different story but are interconnected with events in the previous books. As I said book seven in the prequel that creates Hunter & a stand alone book. As it is obvious, I am a major Wingman fan & seriously recommend 'Wingman' series for all between 8 to 90+.

Some can be a little dry but for all, it keeps your interest going. Hard to put books down and go onto the next in the series.

I was not impressed with this Maloney offering. Enough with Dominique! Move on. I'm tired of her being captured etc etc.
