About the Author Constantina Mitchell and Paul Raymond Côté both hold doctoral degrees from McGill University in Montreal. They resided in France and Canada before relocating to Washington, D.C. Constantina is a Professor at Gallaudet University, a school for the deaf and hard of hearing, and teaches all her courses through sign language, and Paul is a Professor at American University where he heads the French-to-English translation certificate program.
Additionally, they have independently authored a significant number of critical studies and book reviews on contemporary writers in France and Québec, and have also served on the editorial boards of several scholarly journals.
