I have been a Third Day fan ever since i heard the first few lines of their hit song "forever" from their first cd.I own all their albums, have enjoyed their live show, and at one time considered myself among the biggest of third day fans, yet with the release of come together, their poppier sound made me take heed and wonder where the third day i'd known from the earlier albums, especially time, and the stellar, breathtaking Offerings album had went. While still a fan, I drifted from the fold of Third Day and found solace in heavier groups like Skillet, Kutless, and 12 Stones, yet now I am glad to say that Third Day have returned to their roots, demolishing the competition and possibly even their previous endeavors. Every song on this album gets me pumped, from the humor of Rock Star and Billy Brown to the wonderful messages of Christ and His love in songs like Come On Back To Me, Blind, Innocent, and I Will Hold My Head High. while i know some miss the worship songs, this is vintage Third Day, only at an even higher level. I enjoyed the broad soundscapes that Come Together gave us from Third Day and enjoyed seeing their range, but I am overjoyed that Third Day are jammin again, rock n roll running through their veins and Christ owning their hearts, permeating through the incredible sounds here on in my opinion, their magnum opus, Wire. Incredible
