For starters,Susan Hudes' Tarot deck is one of the more interesting ones around thesedays. It's a more serious looking one, with a medieval touch. The companion tarot book,by A. Samul,is one of the best tarot interpretation printed thesedays. The pictures of the Hudes tarot deck are impressive and imaginative. The deck has that annoying border trim, that i feel ,confines the foretelling energy of the cards.Yet,so many great tarot card packs out and about, have that useless edge.It seems many older tarot decks are being discontinued, and therefore the price is skyrocketing for each. For example, both the Oswald Wirth and Northern Shadows are being mothballed, and now the purchase cost is amazing. The Tarot is in recession, yet i can't see it ever going extinct. This book,'Wisdom in the Cards', is a tarot companion book on the level or even better than the,'Guide to the Sacred Rose Tarot',by Johanna Gargiulo-Sherman.So,if you liked either one, you'll probably enjoy the other too.
