From Library Journal
When Laura Langtry, a rich and successful romance author, returns to Bunch Gulch, Montana, to escape a dangerous stalker, she discovers that she has purchased the McAllister family property out from under Jake McAllister, who longs for but can no longer afford it as a poor, divorced rancher raising three sons. As Laura tries to forget the stalker and live down her childhood, she falls in love with Jake and his kids, only to meet resistance in his vow never to remarry. The way Laura tricks Jake into marriage is a despicable ploy for a romance plot, which makes Jake's final capitulation implausible. The mysterious appearance of a maid named Merry also strains credulity. From the author of Enchanted (Jove, 1994).?MKC
