Ure and Cant effectively team up to deliver delightful plays on words and wizardry as twins Joel and Gemma take flight with Junior Wizard Ben-Muzzy. They travel to Wonderland, where they meet gnomes, airy fairies, and the Great Nurdle Bore, whose conversation bores them stiff. Cant delivers Ure's clever story line and appealing characters (one sounds like W.C. Fields) as they hustle to spell words backwards in order to create the magic to return home. Young listeners will encounter subtle lessons and gentle humor. S.G.B. © AudioFile 2003, Portland, Maine--

Product Description
Down in Blackberry Bottom lives Miss Slade, a strange - and rather dirty - old lady. The village children think she's a witch. But Patsy and Jim like her and her six dogs, her donkey and other assorted animals. Miss Slade may not be a witch, but she's not what she seems.
