I was quite surprised at the quality of the art and the thickness of the pages in the book. I didn't know what to expect. We bought this for our daughters but I think it looks quite collectible and the price is worth it. There just isn't that much Wizard of OZ stuff out there for a cheaper price so we got as much as we could including stickers and those plastic clings. I think the only thing I don't understand is that you can't tear out the dolls as there are no pre-perforated marks. I think you have to cut them out. We have not done this because the pages are so nice I don't want to ruin them. For collectors I believe this would be wonderful and I'm surprised there aren't more reviews here. I guess it just depends what you want to do with it. If you don't mind your children playing with them (the original purpose) then they'll have lots of fun but just remember they are paper and most likely won't last very long that way. I intend to putting some photo up here since to give a better idea of what the book looks like inside.

This is a great gift for anyone who is a fan of the Wizard of Oz books! The art reminds me very much of the art from the books, and the set includes all the major characters from the first book, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. I would probably not purchase this set for a child. The main characters each have several different costumes. The book was bigger than I thought it would be, about the size of a regular paper doll book (I expected it to be the size of a small paperback book). I was very happy with this purchase.
