5.0 out of 5 stars A great read, July 16 2004
This review is from: The Wizards Conclave: The Age of Mortals (Mass Market Paperback)
This book was so well written it only took me a day to finish. First it brings in two of my favorite characters (Dalamar and Jenna). Also introduces which appears to be a big player in future dragonlance, Coryn of the White Robes. This book appears
to set up how future dragonlance books are going to need to address magic in the world that is now Krynn. A reader cannot afford to miss this book and continue to read the Dragonlance Saga.
I will not say much about what happens in the book as I do not like spoilers. However, I will say that the 3 gods of magic and their dislike of wild magic and how this is played out by their favorites (robed mages) is extremly compelling.
It appears Douglas Niles has done it again. Just wondering if there will ever by a Weis/Niles book in the future...

1.0 out of 5 stars Oh, well...., July 3 2004

This review is from: The Wizards Conclave: The Age of Mortals (Mass Market Paperback)
Reading this took very little time, but I have to say, I was a bit disappointed. Dalamar with blonde hair? Some of the consistency was a off and things seem to come too easily for some of the characters. The conflict between wild and robe magic was wierd. The gods were portrayed well, though.

5.0 out of 5 stars Finally True Magic Returns, July 2 2004
This review is from: The Wizards Conclave: The Age of Mortals (Mass Market Paperback)
It took me only 2 days to read this book I thought that it was that good. There were a few small things during the story which seemed to leave me wondering how that happened or what explaination there were for certain things. However, over all this is a book which tells the story of how 3 wizards trying to retake Wayreth Tower. If you like lots of magic this book will be one that you like too.
