5.0 out of 5 stars Lots of great info w/o being overwhelming, Jun 26 2011

This review is from: Women's Health & Wellness (Paperback)
Now, I know the book is called Women's Heath & Wellness 2005 and it's now 2011, but bear with me. I got this book from a friend who was giving it away and have been reading some of the articles. There are a lot of books out there that may focus on just one health issue, and information that really could have been provided as a magazine article or a booklet has been bumped up into book format for the sake of profits with a lot of blah-blah-blah that doesn't tell you what you really bought the book for. Not so with this book. It's jam-packed with articles about various women's health issues, both physical and mental, and most of the articles are a page or two at most. This book packs a LOT of information into it's 400 pages. Naturally, because of the 6 years since it's publication I'm guessing that some of the "new breakthroughs" discussed may now be old news, but most of this information is still valid. The articles are mainly short, to the point, and easy to read without overwhelming you with techno-jargon. It's also non age-specific; the information crosses age barriers to appeal to women of all ages.
This one's a keeper -
