About the Author
Bonnie J. Morris, Ph.D. is a scholar, teacher, writer, and performer. She has written seven books including
Revenge of the Women's Studies Professor (Indiana Univ. Pres) and
Girl Reel (Coffee House Press). She lives in Washington, D.C. and is an adjunct assistant professor of women's studies at both George Washington University and Georgetown University. Ms. Morris has been a reader for the U.S. History AP Exam (College Board Educational Testing Service) since 2000, and is on the Board of Mothertongue, D.C's spoken-word stage for women writers and poets. The author lives in Washington, DC.
