Book Description

May 1993 Thoroughbred (Book 6)
Is this good-bye?

When Samantha McLean hears that her beloved horse, Wonder's Pride, is about to be sold by the owner of the farm where Samantha lives, she thinks her heart will break. But Samantha knows she has to be strong if she's going to save Wonder's Pride from the auction block.

The more Samantha finds out, the more hopeless the situation seems. It's not just Wonder's Pride, but all of the Townsend Acres breeding farm that's in danger of destruction.

Time is growing desperately short when Samantha turns to her friend Ashleigh Griffen, a legend in the Townsend Acres stables. Ashleigh is eager to help, but what can two young girls do to save an entire farm?

This was fantastic! It goes down the line of Wonder's offspring, and changes people, which is also a nice change. It shows how Samantha is determined to save "her" beloved horse from being gone forever. I recommend this to EVERYONE!!

5.0 out of 5 stars THIS BOOK WAS SO BREATH TAKING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! March 7 2001
Format:Paperback
I have to say this was the best book so far and Wonder retired! The way Ashleigh and Samantha fought fo Pride was awesome. It was so good and couldn't put it down. I think Mr. Townsend was out of his mind to even think of selling his half-interest in the colt. But it was a shame that Ashleigh couldn't find the money to buy him out. But who cares, as long as Pride, Samantha, and Ashleigh are all at Whitebrook happy with Pride!!!
