I happen to hear "Wonderwall" on the radio tonight, and hadn't heard it, literally, in YEARS. I still love that song, and it made me look up this EP in my 2,000 CD collection, and played it tonight for the first time in ages. First and foremost, the EP track listing listed here by Amazon is just plain wrong.
"Wonderwall" (1995 release; 5 tracks; 27 min.) was in essence the EP that introduced Oasis to the US. The title track was a massive radio hit, and the record label used the occasion to release an EP with a number of other non-album Oasis tracks. "Round Our Way" rocks HARD, and an essential song in the Oasis catalog. "Talk Tonight" is a lazy, but oh-so-gorgeous acoustic guitar ballad sung by Noel. "Rockin' Chair" is another hard-charging track, and is followed by the legendary live Beatles cover of "I Am the Walrus". The last three of these tracks would eventually (re)surface on the classic "Masterplan" collection, released in 1998. In all, this is a MUST HAVE release for any Oasis fan. This EP did exactly what the record label hoped for: it led me to seek other Oasis releases, and since then I've built up quite a bunch of them in my collection. I remember buying this EP in 1995 from the record store as if it was yesterday (where have the years gone). Too bad the band faltered in its latter years, but the band's split has re-energized both Liam and Noel, with excellent releases (under the Beady Eye and High Flying Birds names) in 2011. New releases from these guys are expected later this year.
