After buying another "for dummies" book that was very thorough, I leaped in again for this purchase and was pleasantly surprised to find that while it, too, was thorough, it was printed in colour. It seems like a small detail, but the colour brought the web to life through the book. When you're trying to understand a foreign concept (remember, it's for dummies) the more realistic the diagrams appear the better.
She leaves out a few details that I had to research elsewhere but that's forgivable because it's hard to hit every point in a complex subject. Highly recommended for us dummies.

I bought this book thinking I could design a website with wordpress (hence the name Wordpress design for dummies...) but if you open the first page you will stumble upon this : "You need to know how to use Wordpress before buying that book" ... euhh Hello !!!!!!!!!! Couldn't you have put that on the back of the book...
Still, the book is pretty thick, so for 25 $ you have a nice clip board
