Excellent reprint of a fine edition! Nov. 8 2008
By Alexander Z. Damyanovich - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
Here is some Renaissance-period organ music which nevertheless is already not only crossing over into Baroque but also pointing the way to JS Bach's organ masterpieces! [At that time, much music played on organ could be - and was! - played on other keyboard instruments; and vice-versa.]

Very effective, beautiful church prelude/postlude material, where the music is presented in good type (not too small nor too large for practicality, outstanding layout, clear engraving). An absolute gem!

Great collection. Dec 6 2012
By W. Allen - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
This collection of works by Sweelinck were just what I expected. As an amatuer keyboardist and big fan of baroque music, I was thrilled to see that this collection included some of Sweelinck's more obscure works as well as the more popular ones. I should add that the seller's description of the manuscript was not quite accurate: it was not "Like New", it was literally in "Brand New" condition! (Thanks)

Both this collection and the seller are highly recommended...8^)
