Prof Talmon's reputation is enhanced in this collection of his Qumran articles dating back over twenty years. Although his introduction notes that in some cases his treatment of a particular facet has been superceded by new information or thought, the book is invaluable.
Certain of the articles deal with interpretations of ancient Hebrew, of which I am no master, but i still read faithfully without the extra appreciation which such facility would conjure.
This work will not bring the Covenanter Community in the Judean "Wilderness", the "Camp of the Saints" to a wider audience
