This was such an eazy and amazing experience. The product I ordered was not only here on time infact came earlier then there eta which made me quite happy as other things that I have ordered on line are almost always late which is a huge pet peev of mine. I didn't have to contact seller to find out where package was or anything. Absolutly amazing and wonderful.

This book is a completely genious of how Arthas goes from the little boy to the greatest, most evil being on Azeroth!!! Grats to Christie Golden for this one!!! Make sure you know some lore though before reading it just so that you understand some of the terms used and events!!!

This review is from: World of Warcraft: Arthas: Rise of the Lich King (Hardcover)
I ordered this book because I loved the warcraft computer games. More to the point I loved the character introduced in warcraft III reign of chaos Arthas Menethil. Like MacBeth he is the prime example of a tragic hero. Anyone who has played the games WC 3 and The Frozen Throne knows the fall from grace which forges the Lich King. However, if like me you wanted a back story to the relationship between the young prince and other key charcaters (Uther, Muradin and especially Jaina Proudmoore) This is the novel you seek. You are offered a glimpse of his childhood and his struggles growing up. The romantic element between him and Jaina only adds fuel to the building climax where he falls from the light into utter darkness and pure madness. Even though you know how the story will end, you cannot help wanting to read the next chapter. I was under the impression this book would last several weeks of light reading before bed. I was finished it within one. A very good piece of literature for any fan of the warcraft world. Props to Christie Golden for her portrayal of Arthas.
