Fantastic photos, very well written, lots of contributions.

Some of the "adventures" are a bit short on details (Canada for example) ...

Well worth the price !

There are a number of books coming out with similar titles and all seem to have a sameness about them. Google maps are helpful but placing appropriate towns on them is difficult and illustrated in this tome. The recommended maps and cultural specific sections are great for travellers. GPS locations are great in those segments that include them. It would be good if users of GPS could move to decimal degrees (hd.dddd) in hand held GPS units because people are often confused about where to put the minutes (') and seconds ("). (It is only necessary to use degrees with hd.dddd, such as 31.123456 degrees). PG

Informative and interesting. It satisfied my curiosity at one level and piqued it on another. Highly recommended. Husband now uses it as a coffee table book - makes for great conversations.

This was a gift for my husband. He likes the book overall but has not read it all. He likes to read certain articles but found most very interesting and helpful for an upcoming tip to Alaska.

Its a good book, I just wish there were more rides for north america, including north to south routes. There were a couple of routes that were east to west in the states but I know that there are some good riding trips north to south. Thats why I only gave this three stars
