This book really changed my life. Before I read this, I used to write these cute, tame little poems that frankly, sucked. Now I put it all on the line and my poems are like rock star lyrics.

I want to preface this review by saying I liked this book a lot and I would strongly recommend it. It just wasn't an absolutely perfect fit for me.

This book would be great for a beginner who is having trouble getting published and wondering what exactly they are doing wrong.
The advice in the first half of the book is excellent. The second not so great but it may help you pinpoint exactly what you are doing wrong. Read this book and your work will improve.
