About the Author
Evan S. Smith is an associate professor at Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications and a regular speaker at the American Film Institute. He has written sitcoms for studios including Paramount, MTM, and Twentieth Century Fox and worked as a vice president of Program Development, and when not teaching or writing, serves as a private script consultant.
