Stunning egg tempura illustrations by one of America's finest. Wyeth gives us a peek of his train of thought by including many preliminary sketches. A must have for the master and the apprentice of the arts.

One of the Wonderful Wyeth Books, Oct 19 2005
By David Adams - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Wyeth at Kuerners (Hardcover)
This is one of the wonderful Wyeth books. As difficult as it is to reproduce Andrew Wyeth's masterly paintings and drawings (a truly impossible job) this large volume gives one at least a taste of his genius. It is like going out on his artistic journeys with him sketchbook in hand. You get to see masterworks from the first pencil drawings to the finished product. I am amazed that you can pick this one up at such a low price these days, but maybe everyone who loves Wyeth already has this book. I paid $50 for a copy and thought I was fortunate. It is a must buy book for every serious watercolorist. Wyeth opens your eyes to the world.

Follow the sketches to finished painting, Jan 30 2010
By B Gingersnap "B Gingersnap" - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Wyeth at Kuerners (Hardcover)
When I visited the Brandywine Museum in Chads Ford, PA, I took the tour to
visit the Kuerner Farm. I actually saw the places shown in this book. It is
amazing to see Andrew Wyeth's development from sketch to finished painting.
Our local library has this as a reference book which can not be checked out.
I was delighted to find a copy on Amazon. Andrew Wyeth is truly an Ameriacn
treasure. This book focuses on a huge segment of his journey.
