Hopefully this book will be translated to English soon! May 2 2008
By Karen in Paris - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Mass Market Paperback
I absolutely loved this book. The author has created such deep, complex, and very real characters that you become wrapped up in their world immediately. It's one of those books that you are actually sad when it is over because you have become attached to the characters. I'm amazed that this hasn't been translated to English yet. I'm sure it will be and it honestly wouldn't surprise me if it is made into a movie as well. If you speak French, pick it up as soon as possible!

Best character development I've read in a long time! Aug. 20 2010
By R. Pauck - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Mass Market Paperback
It is quite amazing that such a young author has such a grip on life and all its twists, and manages to create a series of characters intertwined through complicated family ties that makes each single one evolve in quite unexpected ways. This book is a page turner, and the first in a series (the second one is "la valse lente des tortues", which I'm reading right now), and the third one is "les ecureuils du central park sont tristes le lundi", which I can't wait to sink my teeth into. If you speak French, get your hands on these asap, otherwise you'll have to wait for the translations. Really wonderful novels that ring home no matter what kind of family you come from!

La roue tourne pour tous. Feb. 11 2013
By Amazon Customer - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Mass Market Paperback

The characters are portrayed with great talent and they are really engaging.
The story is really moving and the intrigue is great.
You'll put this book down only when you'll turn the last page.
