This CD has seven great tracks and only seven. I hope the people buying from amazon are not mad about the fact that there are fourteen tracks listed on the sales site.

I bought this CD looking to see who are the new music artists of middle east today. My middle eastern ears did not recognize this music as authentic. It was not related to the ecstatic listening we call 'tarab'. It is good listing music for a tead mill workout.

I read the reviews on Amazon.com and thought I was buying a 70's traditional arabic music CD. The kind you would hear at a disco in Beirut or an Amir's tent under a billowing tent watching belly dancers. I did not have such music in my collection. But I was pleasantly surprised. The music is something I would imagine in 2002 at a disco at an international chain hotel in Cairo. I guess I am still looking for a traditional Arabic music CD !
