I use these for dog-walking on frozen trails, they grip extremely well. I have also used them on a frozen lake while I was teaching skating. They are way better than I could have expected. Recommended to save a fall!

I was sceptical that they would work well on ice and boy was I surprised. You can walk on a sidewalk covered in ice very easily without slipping and it also grips on those secions of sidewalk that have the hard thick polished sloping ice where vehicles exit an alley. I found them easy to put on and remove and they fold up and store in your coat pocket.
Be careful wearing them indoors as they are very slippery on tile floor and have no grip!!!
