3.0 out of 5 stars A book for tourists to Buddhism, Dec 13 1999
This review is from: A Yearbook of Buddhist Wisdom (Hardcover)
Pretty pictures and words, but not much here for the serious Buddhist. The calendar represents only a narrow section of the various Buddhist sects, and worse, is unclear. If you like to meditate on Buddhist art, this is a nice book. If you want a book to give your mother who doesn't understand why you are a Buddhist, this is a nice book. Just don't expect a serious treatment of the Buddhist year.
