I love this routine! It's a yoga workout (clearly) where all of the poses and transitions between the poses are done at a slower pace in order for you to be in a constant state of active meditation and also forcing you to constantly use your muscles. It's not slow in the sense that you are holding your poses for any great length of time, more it's just the way you move your body throughout the entire routine.

There is a great combination of poses ranging from standing poses, to inverse back bends, to twists to poses done from the lying down position. Most poses are repeated 2 to 3 times before moving on the next the poses. The transitions between each pose are superb!! No awkward flopping around to move into the position, rather Rodney has you moving in a way which makes you feel like a pro.

The routine is about an hour in length. The DVD has a quick intro to the practice and then the actual routine itself.

I would call this yoga workout a beginner to intermediate level workout. Although it is offered as suitable to all levels there are no modifications offered so unless someone already knows how to make the poses harder/easier you are stuck with the ones given to you.

The routine offers are great combination of strength and stretching!! In particular I could feel it in my shoulders the following day.
