About the Author
Mark Lauren trained US Special Forces operatives for over a decade and revolutionised the US army's training regimes. During that time he effectively prepared over 700 trainees for the extreme physical demands of the most elite levels of the US special operations community. He is a Military Physical Training Specialist, Special Operations Combat Controller, triathlete and mixed martial artist. Lauren broke, and still holds, the Department of Defense s long-standing underwater record by swimming 133 meters, on one breath, subsurface, for 2 minutes and 23 seconds, until losing consciousness. He lives in Tampa Bay, Florida. --This text refers to an alternate Paperback edition.

I've used this book as a resource on my website ([...]) and I recommend it to serious martial artists, gymnasts, professional dancers, or anyone who uses their body weight as a form of resistance regularly.
But finding 20 minutes is manageable and you work up a sweat.
I highly recommend this book, I have several fitness videos and weightloss books this is worth spending your money on.
Folks, this book is it. Written with a great economy of words, no fluff. Some of what he has to say is a bit controversial. But he can back it up.
A Top 10 Desert Island book for sure, to be read and used daily, and great for the whole family: my wife and teens are on it after they couldn't stop noticing their buffed new daddy - thank you Mark!
A complete exercises book and well written.
The author knows what he is talking about.
I strongly recommend it.

I like Marks story and together with his mobile app it makes a good training combo. But, unless you are willing to go this way, don't buy it.Published 4 months ago by Pavol Zibrita
Really enjoy this book. Very easy to read with good explanations about the benefits of gaining muscle over long cardio exercises. The tips on working out at home were helpful.Published 4 months ago by Ben Butler
one of my favorite books of exercises, and I have approximately 30. I always bring it with me when I travel.Published 9 months ago by Sascha Konietzko
This is an interesting concept for a young athletic person. It gives great looking workouts, but probably not as good for we with cranky knees and achy bits.Published 10 months ago by art is life
