Very well written with 125 bodyweight exercises plus variations and High Intensity progressive workouts for four levels of fitness. There are also several interesting pages of Mark's personal experience as an elite forces trainer. Mark Lauren is the real deal.

For those fitness folks that want a great change from free weights, exercise machines, bands, etc, this book is a must read. Mark Lauren goes into great detail about the exercises and provides a variation of routines for people at different fitness levels. Follow Mark's routines and you will be amazed at how effective every exercise is. If you don't want to spend money on fitness equipment, spend the money on this book and watch your body transform. A well written book from an author that knows what he is talking about.

My husband bought this book to use in conjunction with the workouts he does at his gym. He's highlighted many areas which he finds useful and uses this book quite often as a good resource for doing at home. He said it was well-written and helpful.

As a martial artist, body weight based exercises are one of the best things I can do to improve my coordination and balance. This book has documented over 100 body weight based exercises with good detail, and also brushes on related exercise topics such as nutrition, training tips, and best practices. Mark Lauren's book can help to educate many exercisers, no matter how much experience you have (or don't have) in fitness.

I've used this book as a resource on my website ([...]) and I recommend it to serious martial artists, gymnasts, professional dancers, or anyone who uses their body weight as a form of resistance regularly.

I find it hard sometimes to commit to working out for 1 hour 5 days a week. When you are working full time and want to enjoy yourself socially with your husband after a long day, and cooking dinner and preparing lunches for the next day, you just want to pass on anything more.
But finding 20 minutes is manageable and you work up a sweat.
I highly recommend this book, I have several fitness videos and weightloss books this is worth spending your money on.

Having read many of the literally libraries full of fitness books out there I feel compelled to say all you need is one of them: Mark Lauren's.

Folks, this book is it. Written with a great economy of words, no fluff. Some of what he has to say is a bit controversial. But he can back it up.

A Top 10 Desert Island book for sure, to be read and used daily, and great for the whole family: my wife and teens are on it after they couldn't stop noticing their buffed new daddy - thank you Mark!

AWESOME BOOK. I HAVE DILIGENTLY BEEN FOLLOWING HIS BASIC WORKOUT PLAN. I CAN DO THE WORKOUTS IN THE LIVING ROOM WITH MY KIDS ABOUT. I AM SORE BUT A GOOD SORE. I DISLIKE WORKING OUT WITH WEIGHTS. THIS BOOK REALLY SPEAKS TO ME. I CAN DO EACH WORKOUT IN ABOUT 25 MINUTES WITH A 5 MINUTE WARM UP.
