Barbara Daly You Call This Romance?
Attempting a dry run for the camera crew filming his famous client's wedding, publicist Cabot Brennan needs a stand-in bride. Fortunately, Faith Sumner, the travel agent handling the honeymoon, bears a striking resemblance to his client, and she agrees to the plan. Neither Cabot nor Faith is expecting the sparks that fly between them, or what happens when they finally act on them. Reminiscent of an old movie comedy, complete with an attractively stuffy hero and appealingly ditzy heroine, Barbara Daly's YOU CALL THIS ROMANCE!? is a gem.
Are you For Real?
Model Charity Sumner would rather be a scientist, but she's never taken seriously because of her looks. When interviewing for a post as assistant to veterinarian/researcher Jason Segal, she hides her beauty with an unattractive disguise; naturally, Jason hires her on the spot. What Charity hasn't counted on is Jason's good looks-and the electricity leaping between the two of them. Fast-paced, fresh and funny, Barbara Daly's ARE YOU FOR REAL? (4) is warm, wonderful, and worthwhile for the first love scene alone.
