I love [...].

It's one of the few websites I visit every single day. When this book was released I basically couldn't say no, and happily picked it up.

As is true with most of the [...] articles, each entry in the book is surprisingly funny, while teaching you something you almost definitly didn't know.

I was very disappointed however, that the bulk of the material in this book, were articles I had allready read on the website, with just a smattering of new work. For some reason, I was expecting this book to be all new content.

However, I have often re-read many of the articles on [...], and I still enjoyed reading through the recycled material for the second (or third) time. So I am still satisfied with this book overall.

This will be a great book to lend to folks who don't get to the website every day.

There's nothing new in this book. It is a selection of articles that can be found on the Cracked website. As such, I'm not sure I needed to buy the book, although I hadn't found or read many of the selections on my frequent visits to the site. So, perhaps I could say that the editor did some work in winnowing out the better stuff. Overall I'm not disappointed with my purchase, but should you wish to save money, go to the site and read. It's cheaper.

With a twisted sense of humour, tremendous wit, plenty of pub-friendly lingo, lots of odd sketches and a wild yet fertile imagination, the authors of this book have presented a great many tidbits of information which they claim is all true. The topics are quite varied, but they are all carefully classified by subject – 40 of them – each subject being presented in the form of a list of four or five (or more) entries which are each discussed over a page or two.

Once I got used to the lingo, there were still a few one-liners that went over my head, especially those involving some people’s names - people that I’ve never heard of before (but that’s only due to my own ignorance). However, I did find the book quite enjoyable and a rather quick read.

This book should appeal to a wide range of readers, especially those in search of odd facts and plenty of hearty laughter.

Got it as a gift for my husband, and from the first pages he was laughing right out loud. A great read for those with a slightly twisted sense of humor.
