I like the YOU series of books, but in my opinion this CD is a great mistake. Not practical at all and not interesting. If you need to listen to something while walking or jogging then use your mp3 with your own selection of music. As for myself, I rather concentrate on my breathing while doing that. Read about walking and breathing techniques in a very good book that I highly recommend titled "Can We Live 150" by Dr. Tombak. It is a very down to earth book, and the author is really doing his best to educate the readers and truly help them living healthy life. As for doctors Oz and Roizen I am disappointed with them as they seem to be more concerned about making money with new YOU products, instead of concentrating on their real calling.

I'm a HUGE fan of these two guys and I have their other books. This CD is a WASTE OF MONEY people. I was looking forward to words of encouragement, interesting tidbits of info that would tell me the good I was doing for my body while walking to keep me interested and moving. Instead? Really, really bad music with the odd offering of wisdom. At the end of one walk? They advise NOT to drink sports drinks on a walk because you'll have to walk for hours to burn off those extra calories. Ahem.... WHY not share those words of wisdom at the BEGINNING of the CD instead of the END of a walk?? This is a really dull CD. I'd highly recommend you pick your own favorite music, upload them to your iPod or other MP3 player (or discman), walk 15 minutes away from your house at a brisk pace and then walk home. Voila! :^) Save yourself some money - walking is FREE!

I have many walking music products, but this one keeps you in a constant, rhythmnic tempo. Disk one is a good tempo for me and I get a good workout from it. I haven't tried disk 2 yet. It is a faster tempo. You get encouraging words from the doctors as you walk and that too helps motivate you to continue til the end. I recommend this one. Thanks

If you're the type of person who gets bored about 10 minutes into the walk around your neighborhood, this CD program is a great way to help you to keep going. On this CD, you have the choice of a couple of differently paced walks, a music option, and during the walks you have an "angel" in your ear, talking with you and encouraging you to keep going.

When I walk, it's usually on a treadmill, and listening to this CD is a great alternative to watching the TV. It makes the time go faster, and it's a great way to keep track of how long you're walking. And I find it motivating.

I have lost about 30 lbs from treadmilling and watching my food consumption, following the guidelines that Dr. Roizen and Dr. Oz suggested.

The companion program is great too !! This is a recommended program.

Just getting back in the habit of walking that extra 30 minutes has be a difficult project for me. The music and encouragement has made my effforts much much easier and it's amazing how quickly the time passes. I would love for Dr. Roizen to create a few more so that we could have some variation in the music as well as the tip/encouragement. I'm still working on the stretches... flexibility will come with time I hope!
