I have had this book since I got my first aquarium in 1988. I was 12 and it was a great resource then, as it still is. Easy to read, and use for any age. A must have for any aquarium owner, first time or veteran. Glad to see it is still available.

I had borrowed this book from my local library over and over again through the years, it is a fantastic reference book for aquariums. The perfect book for someone setting up their first aquarium.

This book is the best of any I've seen on general fishkeeping. It's clear, and gives good illustrations and pictures on how to set up a tank, plants and fish, and other topics. It even goes into the basics of what to expect if your fish breed, and how to build an undergravel filter.

It shouldn't be the only book you ever read on the topic (if you plan to keep fish,) but it's a really great start.
