Product Description

Product Description

The next generation of Inhumans star in this atmospheric ensemble drama, collected for the first time in one trade paperback! They're just ordinary exchange students from a far-off land, here to learn about our culture - except their home is a mysterious city on the moon, and they each possess fabulous, exotic abilities and appearances. The product of experiments on humanity by an alien culture millennia ago, the Inhumans are a race governed by the laws of genetics. Here as nowhere else, diversity and individuality are prized beyond compare. The Inhumans have flourished in isolation from humanity within their kingdom of Attilan on the surface of the moon, but what happens when their king decides to send some of his subjects to Earth to learn about humans? Will they be able to integrate into human culture? More important, will they even try? Collecting Inhumans #1-12.

3.0 out of 5 stars A new generation of Inhumans, May 14 2012

This review is from: Young Inhumans (Paperback)
In my attempts to catch up on all things Inhuman in recent years, I was drawn to this collection of a 12 issue mini-series focusing on a new generation of Inhumans. The essential story is that BlackBolt and Medusa decide to place several young Inhumans on earth in a college environment and we see the results.
Things proceed as we would expect, a mixture of bad and good. Not earth shattering, but a decent story, well told, and the new characters are fine. Comic book arcs need to expand beyond our comfort zone, and this effort certainly tried. Not essential, but interesting for those who have to follow every arc through to its end.

2.0 out of 5 stars an inhuman bored, Jan 14 2012

this was just boring. i love the inhumans but this was almost like a WB version of inhumans (not featuring any inhumans we all know and love by the way). it didnt work. it was a decent idea. but nope. if fell too flat into boredom

4.0 out of 5 stars Not enough, Nov 16 2010

Not nearly enough action in this book. The book also closed with the door wide open. Even in graphic novels there should be some definite continuation or resolution. This could have ended better and i believe this series was discontinued. If this book was any indication of a reason, I can see why. The characters were good and could have been developed so much more.
