Good Bible study book for teens Oct. 22 2012

This book was used by my husband and our male teen friend. It was a good study that they could do together to help strengthen and encourage eachothers walk.

Felt like it spoke just to me June 13 2013
By kira shearer - Published on Amazon.com

This book was just what I was looking for. Not just adult situations and examples, but ones that spoke to my life at 17. The fears, insecurities as well as the call to be strong, courageous and know who I am from the inside out.

Great Book. Great Service Aug. 30 2013
By Darryl Cherry - Published on Amazon.com

This is a great book. My son absolutely loves it. This is one of the first Christian books that he read with genuine interest and enthusiasm. He also took the time to answer the questions. The service was prompt from the seller. The product was as described.

Ample info bite-sized, right-sized for most teens. Dec 17 2012
By Pen Silnink - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
Loved the moderate steps and giftedly matter-of-fact way mid-teens are approached. No condescending tone. Easy for our mid-teen to take up and put down without feeling weighed down or put upon by one more how-to-grow-up author. As a parent, I liked the book's approach to life's onslaught - that teen years and it's after-life are welcoming, doable, and a kind-design clipboard of choices, not a prickly bush of rules. The light-hearted, bite-sized chunks nicely fit our family m.o. and our teen's mindset (assertive, mid-income, conservative, equally academic and athletic). Husb and I must note, casual (surface) and edu-soul (deep) reading aren't the same, yet can strike the same chords. While the brevity and levity give think-space, be ready if your reader has responses/overflows. At times, the material, topics, and delivery seem age-incongruous: college, cars, girls escape our mid-teen's younger age's current interests/involvements. Likewise, more juvenile text is beneath older teens or collegiates. Lastly, task loads vary between schools/churches--for each kill 'em and drill 'em, there's a cream puff. Parents should pre-gauge their teen's schedule/acumen before diving in or weaning into the book's ambitious daily bible reading checklists (we saw one reviewer quick-grabbed the lists for their study group - nuff said). Glad the book is there. Always like George family books.

A great book! Dec 22 2013

A nice easy read for young sons. The stories in the book are real and and properly illustrate the need for young adolescent males to pursue God in their lives!
