I just happened to listen to Get On Your Feet in some downtown in California quite a long ago, which really interested her a lot. Since I didn't know the title, I asked one of my friends the title. Luckily she saved to the tape Gloria's album "Cuts Both Ways" which of course included Get On Your Feet. (Recordable CD's and MD's didn't exist then.) I was so fired up by this positive and energetic tune as soon as I listed to this song.

"Get on your feet!
Get up & make it happen
Get on your feet!
Stand up & take some action"

How could I not be quite excited about this song? I was really ecstatic about the song when I watched the video of that up-tempo tune! Especially, I got so happy to see Gloria jumping when she sang the main part above on some video software!

I never wanna label this song 'out' although it was released 20 years ago. The thing is not all of old songs are obsolete!
